OHURA COUNTY ELECTION.
It is doubtful (states the Ohura Advocate)-if any of the previous Ohura County Council elections Caused more interest than the one decided on Wednesday last. There were three members returned Unopposed, but'the other six Seats were well contested. The triangular contests .for Mangaroa and Niho Niho made these 'two contests very doubtful. The next Council will be composed of five members of the last body and four new dives. We understand that in connection with the Mangaroa riding Mr Loveday intends to try and upset the poll on the ground of alelged irregularities. A matter for much speculation is: Who will be the next chairman? Following are the results of the election:—
