TWO AUSTRIAN DIVISIONS ANNIHILATED. United Press Association. (Received 8.50 a.m.) . Bucharest, November 13. While a small Russian force made a frontal attack on two Austrian divisions at the river Pruth, the main Russian force, concentrated at Storozinstz cutting-, off the Austrian retreat, and both divisions were annihilated.

The official version shows that Russians blew up the transport Pruth rather than surrender her to the Goeben.
