WINNING POST "STORIES.”
Per Press Association. Invercargill, November 13.. Arthur Geddes, proprietor of the railway bookstall, was charged with an offence under the Indecent Publications Act in selling a copy of the “Winning Post” funny stories. The Magistrate characterised the book as simply trash, ..but on the ground 'hat the sale was of a mischievous tendency imposed a fine of twenty {.killings and cots.
