The Governor has received fclio following telegram from £he Secretary < f State for the Colonies, in response to a message last week, forwarding the first instalment of the New Zealand contribution to the Poor of Britain ami Belgium Funds: “With reference to your telegram of the sth November, His Majesty’s Government is most grateful for the contributions to the Relief Fund.”
