AMUSEMENTS.
HIS MAJESTY’S THEATRE. Last night an unexpected pregramme wris screened to a very large audience, the chief picture being one of the second series of war pictures direct 5 from the front, and entitled “50,000 Germans Entering Brussels.” Some of the scenes are: Entry of German troops and transports, which are very heavy—fatigued troops taking a much needed rest—the roll call, counting the lost-Red Cross waggon carrying wounded (or machine guns) into the captured city—as well as many other interesting scenes. The management states that these series have been obtained at an enormous expense, and will be screened weekly. Other fino pictures on the programme include “His Guiding Star” (a Pathe colored drama in two acts), which is a splendid play. Pathe Gazette includes “Trooping the Colors” (spectacular scene), “Marseilles to Port Said” (a perfect travel picture), and “Resurrection of Caleb Worth” (superb drama). ‘ Tho comedies include “Timing Cupid” (Tit a graph feature), and Keystone’s “Twenty Minutes of Love” (best comedy ever produced by this famous company). To-morrow night’s big feature drama is: “When Iron and Steel Meet,” a Vitagraph featuring Maurice Costello, tfye favourite picture acter.
