AMAZING PEACE TERMS SUBMITTED BY GERMANY. FRANCE INSTANtLY AND SCORNFULLY REJECTS. (Received 9.5 a.m.) London, October 30. The Chronicle’s Paris correspondent states that Germany has offered, through influential French commercial and financial intermediaries to make peace with France alone, France receiving Metz and portions of Alsace and Lorraine, Germany retaining Antwerp and Northern Belgium. The offer was instantly and scornfully rejected.
