Mrs Delaney was remanded on a charge of murdering her son aged ten a.t Flemingtou. It is alleged that during the absence of the father, who is a horsetrainer, the mother entered the children’s room with a razor, and cut the boy’s throat. Two girls escaped uninjured. The mother was found wandering about in her nightdress.
