London, October 24. George Dullet, a German, was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment at Liverpool for representing himself as a free man. He possessed a letter from a General in Poland, acknowledging information, and adding: “I thought you would have gone to the war, and have been paid for your service in Poland.” The Newfoundland contingent has
arrived. Over 500 motor ambulances have been presented to the Red Cross. Code cable addresses will be permitted after the 26th. October. The Comittee has closed the Athenaeum Aristocratic Club, in Pall Mall.
