We quote as follow?.:- Hens 2s to 2s Gd, roosters 2s to 3s 6d, young hens 2s 6d to 3s, geese 3s to 4k, ducks sold privately 2s 6d, cauliflower, per doz, 2s 9d to 3s 6d, carrots 3s per sack, rhubarb 5d to 6d per bundle, bacon (factory cured) 9d ( to 10d per lb, potatoes 8s 6d to 10s, pollard 16s 6d.
