With reference to the reinforcement's that are now being called for, the following Taranaki officers have volunteered for service : —Major F. T. Bell- 1 ringer (New Plymouth), Major A. J. Clark (Eltham), Lieutenant G. W. i Taylor (Eltham), Lieutenant Hartnell f (New Plymouth), and Lieutenant K.| Munro (Stratford)., As only a limited s number of officers will be required,. and the selection will be made from » volunteers throughout the Dominion, 5 it is probable that many of those who i send in their names will not be accepM. ed, the selection being made by the Defence Department.
