NEWTON KING’S HAYMARKET REPORT. For my Haymarket sale held Saturday last, I had a full yarding of pigs and calves; store pigs, for this class there was a good enquiry. Weaners, some good lines in this class were penned, which caused keen competition, one pen of 7-weeks-old making £1 7s for the line. A clearance was effected at the following prices:—Slips and weaners 12s 6d to £1 small stores £1 7s 6d to £1 10s, medium ditto £1 13s, sows to farrow £4, sows and litter £lO, calves from 3s to 9s 6d, milk carts £4 14s to £8 10», ducks Is 9d to 2s. Quantity of timber from 3s to 10s per 100 feet.. The next sale will he held on Saturday, 7th i October, commencing at 12 o’clock.
