Heavy showers fell early this morning but a strong northerly wind cleared the sky, and the racing started in fine weather.

Owen Handicap, six furlongs.—Playoff 1, Sanguinary 2, Sir Moseley. 3. All started. Won by a neck, a length between second and third. Time, Imm 14 3-ssec.

Railway Handicap, of six furlongs,— Denise Orme 1, Campeador 2, Flagfall 3. All started. Won by a length, half a length between second and third. Time,, linin' 16sec. Brunswick Hurdles, of 1} miles.— Hereford 1, Aruake 2, Leapuki 3. All started. Won by five lengths, a neck between second and third. Time. 2rain 49sec.

Hack Steeples, of 2* miles.—Waterworks 1, Darby Paul 2, Tyrannic 3. All started.; Won by two. lengths, four lengths between second and third. General Webb and Te Whetij fell. Time smin 17Jsec.
