AMUSEMENTS.

BERNARD’S PICTURES. “The Italian Navy,” a film which was shown at His Majesty’s theatre last night, is a grim yet magnificent spectacle. The first picture shows the navy in heavy weather, firing big guns, firing torpedoes, landing troops and horses for action, and firing broadsides, etc. The star picture, “Where the Hoad Forks,” was received with marked approval. It is a pretty story, welh produced by a good company. Other pictures of merit were “The Reward,” bj Lubin, which shows the real heart of an outlaw. The Gazette is full of interesting news, and includes “The King’s Visit to Paris.” In “Scenes at the Auckland Races” several Stratfordiaus can be noticed. The Keystone comedy, “Between the Showers,” is a skyraker featuring ‘Ford Sterling.’ The famous novel by Alexander Dumos p will be reproduced in the pictures, “The Three Musketeers.”
