HORTICULTURAL SHOW.
TOWN HALL TO-MORROW. Members, of the Horticultural Society have been busy to-day preparing for the spring show to. be> held' in the Town' Hall to-morrow.- The Society has always had a reputation for putting on a good show of' blooms, while the little "extras" which tend to make the exhibition more pleasurable are also properly attended to. -'This year the/proceeds of the. show are to be given to the Patriotic Fund, which should be a guarantee of the presence at the Town. Hall of citizens who are not particularly horticulturally inclined; though, at the same time, the society .claims, that profound horticultural knowledge is not necessary to enjoy the show. Mr Hansen, of Eltham, will act a? judge of the' flowers. Good entries have, been received-, a number of entries being from exhibitors who have never previously been represented in Stratford. Afternoon-tea and supper will, as usual, be supplied at a small change. The Patriotic Fund entertainment comriiittee has charge of. the musical programme; to which the Egmont Club orchestra 'Will" contribute.
