There was an enthusiastic scene outside Westminster Cathedral ! on Sunday afternoon, Cardinal Merrier blessing a procession of 50,000 London Irishmen and Irishwomen. The Cardinal, who stood between Mir Redmond and* Mr O’Connor, after the blessing, raised Ms hand and cried: “God Save Ireland!” This was : the signal for fresh cheering, and-the crowd shouted “God save Belgium.” " ■ ’''
