Admiral Patey has sent a wireless message that the British flag was hoisted at Rabaul and saluted at 3.30 on Sunday, and thp proclamation of occupation read. Senator Millen, Defence Minister, sent congratulations. GIFT OF AN AEROPLANE, Mr Tom Reynolds has presented the Defence Department with a Bleriot monoplane.
