COMMONWEALTH CABLES

[By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [United Press Association.] Sydney, September 7.

The Royal Commission’s report on the Boorabil land case recommends immediate legislation to prevent members of Parliament acting as paid agents in connection with Crown land matters. It absolves Ministers or any official in the public service from any suggestion of impropriety in the case, and, regarding the purchase of Boorihil, points out that the land was eagerly taken up from the Government for c-loser settlement.
