THE KILLED AND WOUNDED AND THE MISSING. TRAWLER’S CR %NVITNESS HER D, (Received 1.1.40 a.m.) London, September 7. The Press Bureau ; :alcs: —Following are the Pathfinder’s casualties among the officers: Paymaster Finch (killed), Captain Leiko, Staff Surgeon Smythe (wounded', Lieut-Commander Favell, Lieuts. Leather and Carter and five others missing. A trawler was three miles distant and the men were below at a meal wbeh they felt the shock of the explosion.
The trawler’s crew saw the Pathfinder in an almost perpendicular position and a terrible explosion followed. rescued ninety men and convey aem to Rosyth.
