French General’s Trial
THE SON TAKEN AND FATHER LEFT. (Received 8.0 a.m.) Paris, August 28. The list of killed at Charleroi include Xavier Castlenau, the twenty-year-old son of General Castlenau, chief of the 1 general staff. The lad died at his father’s side, but General Castlenau continued to direct the fight.
