Last Saturday I held a very successful sale of poultry, vegetables, furniture, eto., meeting with very good competition. I quote as follows: Hens Is 9d to 3s, ducks 2s to 3s, geese 4s to ss, cabbage (per doz) 2s 6d to 3s, cauliflowers 3s to 4s, bags parsnip Is 6d to 2s per bag, carrots Is 6d to 2s per bag, potatoes 9s to lis per sack, bacon 7d to 9£d per lb, wheat 5s to 5s per bushel, furniture and sundries at usual auction rates.
