BERNARD’S PICTURES. The reigning programme of pictures presented at Bernard’s Theatre last evening was one of the best variety of films yet presented. “The Warwick Chronicle” includes the latest views of the world, and shows the British and French army and navy and Prussian forces at physical drill. “Swiss Sports” is a film of deep interest. The star drama “Heartsease” is itagraph’s best and most sympathetic stories yet told. The supporting films are all good. Wednesday next “Threads of Destiny,” Vitagraph’s latest success is the feature drama “The N.Z. Main Trunk disaster,” and a bunch of comics.
