RUMOURS OF AUSTRIAN TROOPS IN OPERATION. Amsterdam, August 17. It is rumoured that Austrian troops' are fighting in Belgium, under Count Von Buelow, commanding the second army corps. The Belgians and French are exchanging officers, the transfers being calculated to mutually timulate their energies.
BOMBS FROM AEROPLANE INTO LOUVAIN.
EXPERIENCE OF TWO AVIATORS
(Received 8.50-a.m.) , Brussels, August 17. Last night a German aeroplane dropped bombs into Louvain.
Two Belgian senators, owing to a breakdown, were compelled to land near a body ,of Uhlans, and they abandoned the aeropldne. Later on, the Belgians, with a quickfirer mounted on a motor car, surprised and drove off the Uhlans and rescued the aeroplane.
