AUSTRIAN TROOPS ON THE FRONTIER. LED BY GERMAN GENERAL. (Received 8.45 a.m.) A German general commands the Austrian troops on the Russian frontier. AUSTRIANS DRIVEN OUT OF SOKAL. v PURSUED BY THE RUSSIANS. (Received 8.45 a.m.) St. Petersburg, August 13. It is semi-officially announced that the Russians drove the Austrians out of Sokal and pursued them to Rivet Bug, blowing up bridges and a viaduct.
