THE SUBMARINES ACCEPTED BY THE ADMIRALTY. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] Times and Sydney Sun Services. Ottawa. August 11. The Admiralty has accepted Canada's offer of two submarines recently purchased from Chili. An attempt was made to blow up the Canadian North Railway track at Parry Ponds. Private contractors are offering supplies free to repaint the cruiser Niobe. The' strange vessel in the St. Lawrence was discovered to be a British cruiser and the ports were thereupon re-opened.
