A Dannevirko Press Association telegram to-day states; A, shooting accident at Teahunga yesterday resulted in the death at Dannevirko Hospital on Sunday night of Frank Englehretsen, aged ten years. Lads were reported to have been-playing with a gun' when another lad pointed it at Englchretsen and .fired, being unaware that the weapon was loaded. Englchretsen was frightfully lacerated in the lungs and succumbed to the injuries. W. T. Young, ex-president of the Federation of Labor, has been ordered to come up for-sentence when called upon, states a Wellington P.A. wire. At tlio Auckland Police Court Harry Christmas, charged with wilfully setting lire to the auxiliary yacht Clara, destroyed by lire at Waiheke on Juno 21st, was remanded for a week, bail being allowed, self in if 100 and one surety of £IOO or two sureties of £SO. —P.A .
