A. AND P. ASSOCIATION.
MEETING OF EXECUTIVE. At a mooting last night there were present: Messrs E. Jackson (president, in the chair), W. H. H. Young, J. Shotter, E. Kollehor, W. P. Kirkwood and F. E. Dobson. The secretary of the Wanganui A. and P. Association notified that his Association show dates were November 18th ami 19th. It was decided to get an estimate of the cost of wire-netting under the rafters in the stands, to prevent birds roosting there. Mr 0. D. Hunter, secretary of the Gun Club, waited on the meeting in reference to Mr Huggott’s complaint that the shooting on the Showgrounds was disturbing his cows. He said that lie had never heard of a similar complaint, and thought any cows close at hand would soon get used to the ! noise.—ln reply to Mr Jackson Air I Hunter said the club shot at the ' south end of the bull boxes, having I been unable to get another position j which would give good light.
