PLAGUE ON A STEAMER.
Thursday Island, July 29. The steamer Taiyuan, from Hongkong, reported that after leaving Manilla a man aboard was found suffering from plague. He was landed at Zamboanga. No further sickness occurred on the vessel, which is proceeding south under quarantine.
