Rebels Defeated.
REBELLBON 2N BORNEO. BURNING AND MURDER. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [United Press Association.] (Received 8.55 a.m.) Batavia, July 29. There lias been a serious rebellion on the west coast of Borneo. The burned villages and the officials’ homes, and murdered the Chinese burgomaster. A body of rebels marched t« the capital, and in a collision with the Dutch troops the rebels were defeated with heavy loss.
