At, Wellington to-day, the Farmers’ I'nion Conference discussed an Auckland remit advocating the appointment of a committee to consider and draft a scheme of government by elective executive for .New Zealand in order that the Farmers’ I nion may enter on an active campaign to bring the principle clearly before the electors.
