Austria’s Demand.
AM ULTIMATUM TO SERVIA WAITING FOR A REPLY. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [United Press Association.] Vienna, July 22. Tiie Xeue Frei Presse says Austria’s demand, to be presented to Servia this week, will request the immediate pro secutioii of Servian subjects compromised in the Sarajevo assassination, and the suppression of the,Pan-Servian organisation agitating'against tU e monarchy. Austria ivill also express a desire for better supervision of the Austro-Servians from the frontier and the revision of the Servians’ policy towards tbo monarchy. The newspaper adds that forty-eight hours will be allowed for a reply. RUSSIAN MOBILISATION. St. Petersburg, July 22. The newspapers resent Austria’s attitude towards Servia, and refer ominously to the Russian mobilisation. WHERE GERMANY’S INTEREST LIES. Times and Sydney Sun Services. Berlin, July 22. The Servian crisis has caused six important securities on the Bourse to touch the lowest point for many years. Germany is anxious to preserve her neutrality, but she is hound to support Austria in the event of intervals by a third party.
