PEDIGREE JERSEY SALE. MAY DAY FETCHED 78 GUINEAS. At Leighurst, • Tariki Road, the property of Mr W. V. Harkness, a most successful sale of pedigree stock was conducted yesterday by Messrs Webster, Dobson and Co. The sale went with a vim from start to finish, competition being keen by buyers from Palmerston North, Westport, Wairarapa, Pio Pio, Aria, Ballance, Taranaki, Maraekakaho, D eliding, Hamilton and throughout the Dominion. The stock was in splendid condition and reflected, the greatest credit on the "owner, as regards his past careful attention. The hamemr was wielded by Mr F. W. Webster, and the firm's Hawera auctioneer, Mr L. St. Hill. We append herewith full details re purchasers and prices:
