Bartlett is awaiting the United States revenue cutter, which will proceed to the rescue of the shipwrecked Steffanson expedition party morooned on Wrangell Island. He states that he knows nothing of the reported loss of eiglit men, as reported to-the Government. Bartlett added that the men who left Wrangell Island to secure provisions were saved when the Kain luck was wrecked. He believed they were safe, and no others were imperilled. A
