THE ONE DAY FOR REST.
HATRED OF NON-UNIONISTS. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] Times and Sydney Sun Services. London, June 21. The railwayman's conferences unanimously instructed the executive to fix a day in the near future when the members of the union would decline to work with non-unionists. The speeches indicated a bitter resentment of non-unionists, who, it was alleged, were working in the company’s interests, and if the executive didn't move quickly the rank and file would take matters into their own hands.
It was resolved that every worker should have one day of rest in seven, that rest-day to be Sunday.
