ABANDONED TO HER FATE. (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [United Press Association.; (Received 9.0 a.m.) London, Juno 21. The hospital ship Maine presented by American women during the Boer War is ashore in the Firth of Forth. The vessel has been abandoned owing to her age and the cost of salvage. The Admiralty will re-name the Mediator, the new hospital ship, as The Maine.
