Oil lias been struck in the Monarch well at Calgary at a depth of 806 feet, it is believed in large quantities. The pressure is so strong that a charge of. nitre-glycerine would start the gusher, which would blow down the derrick. ’ , There is excited buying of shares at exceptional prices.
