Prices lor the best sorts ruled in sellers' favor, and for other classes were fully equal to .May rates.T. LAMASGN'S REPORT. Last Saturday 1 held my usual weekly sale with a very good entry of various' lines. There is a good demand for pullets and good lines. I quote as follows:—Hen s Is 7d to 2s Gd, pullets Black Minorca 3s to 3s 6d, White Leghorns 3s to 3s Gd, roosters 2s to 3s Gd, ducks 2s Gd to 3s Gd, turkey hens os ; gobblers 7s to 7s Gd, cabbage 3s per dozen, cauliflowers 2s Gd to 3s, carrots Is to is Gd per bundle 3s to 3s Gd per sack, potatoes 9s Gd to 10s per sack. Furniture and sundries at usual auction rates.

N.Z. LOAN AND MERCANTILE REPORT. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., Stratford branch, report as follows: On Tuesday, 16th June, we held mir usual fortnightly sale in our Stratford yards, when we had a small yarding of' 283 head of cattl6 and 20 sheep, most of which were sold at the hammer or afterwards at satisfactory prices. Weaner Jieifers made 27s Gd, 335, 345, 37s Gd*, 42s Gd to 48s; mixed weaners, small and weedy, 17s 6d, 25s to 34s for fair lines; 18month empty heifers, 59s Gd to Gls; in calf heifers made up to 120 s; cows, ill low condition and small, 31s to 625, 74s to 765, medium 84s to 1 91s, fair 94s to 107 s. Since Ave last reported, there has been a good demand for all classes of stock privately. Mixed weaners 29s 3d to 31s to 355; weaner steers, 32s 6d to 3is to 40s; weaner heifers, small, 20s, 27s 6d, 30s, 31s Gd, 32s 6d; in calf heifers, 162 s Gd; lambs, lis 6d, 12s Gd, 14 s to 14s iki; wethers, 15s for small 17s Gd for medium to 23s Gd for forward. All kinds of sheep are inclined to be easier.
