For the concluding day of the' Hajivke's Bay Jockey Club winter meeting the totalisator investments were £16,615, compared with £12,225 on the second day of last winter meeting, the total for the, two days, being £30,780. against £27,211 for the winter meeting of 1913. ' It: was Wilson, rider of Sir Donald, in the Whakatu Hurdles yesterday,' who was seriously injured, and not Marchant, rider of Parawanui, as telegraphed last night. .Pritchard; rider of Mount Victoria in the Final Handicap, was suspended for three months for crossing Ngarua. Sir Lethe led to the entrance to the straight, where Exotic joined issue, and in the run home won by half a length, a length between second and third. The Chief was fourth. Morihiko ran off, and Cousin Jack fell. Time, smin 11 l-ssec. Raukawa Hack Handicap (on the flat), 100 sovs.—l Portraiture, 9.13 (W. Bell), 1; 3 Pursefiller, 10.9, 2; 13 The Summit, 9.2, 3. Portraitirro came with a rush in the last few strides, and won by a neck, half a length between second and third. Time, lmin 30sec.
