A combined body of the Milditen and Malissori marched against Shiak, artillery covering their advance. The Prince rode out to witness the ingAfter fierce fighting at Raschtul, the rebels were completely defeated, the Government troops surrounding and annihilating a thousand. The attack on Durazzo is proceeding. It is feared that the insurgents will force an entry, as the Malissori are retiring, but the defence is being reorganised to enable the garrison to hold out until the arrival of reinforcements, which must cut their way through the rebels. The Queen is indefatigable in attending to the wounded. The insurgents wore practically annihilated by a thousand being killed at Mirdites. LESS ALARMING. Athens, June 18. M. Shulibbey has announced the measures the Turkish Government is taking to secure a cessation of persecutions. The situation is now less alarming.
