QUEER ANCIENT CUSTOM.
CHURCH CHOIR ON STRIKE. [l»v Elbctrio Telegraph—Copyright} Times and Sydney Sun Services. (Received 8.0 a.m.) Berlin, June 15. The church choir at Gebesee is striking because the municipal council is discontinuing the anceint custom of granting the choir four hundred litres of beer and four piece* of land annually.
The Council re-granted the beer, but refused the land, and the strike continues.
