Mr Newton King reports: For my Haymarket sale on Saturday, 6th inst., I had a fair entry of all classes of pigs which .were submitted before a fair attendance. Prices ruling were, if anything, firmer than my last sale, all lines being celared at the hammer at the following prices:—Slips and weaners from 8s 6d to 14s, small stores 18s 6d to £1 Is 6d, medium stores £1 3s to £1 9s, three cows from £9 15s to £ll, plough £5, hens Is 3d to Is 7d, pullets Is 9d to 3s, quantity of timbers fencing posts and sundries at. usual rates. The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., omitted to mention in their last market report that Mr James Monfcgomerie's gift calf to the Stratford A. and P. Association was offered at fchoir Stratford *ale on 2nd June, realising £2 Bs,
