TARANAKI WOOL, SKIN, HIDE AND TALLOW SALES. W. M. BAYLY AND CO.’S REPORT. On Tuesday the 2nd June «’e held our monthly sale of above produce, our catalogue comprising a fair quantity of wool, hides, tallow and sheepskins. There was a good attendance of buyers, and competition was keen. Wo quote:— Wool (in bales) —Lambs’ seedy, GUI; clean and bright, 9d; ewes, Sid; black, 7-1 d; fleece (in bags) inferior, 7 Id. Sheepskins.—Butchers’ 1-wools damp 4s 9d each; 1-woods dry, 7UI per lb; 3-wools, 7;|d; lamb full-wools 7s each; salted 1-woods, 4s 9d each; settlors’ 3-wools 71d; fulls, 8d; pelts, bid. Hides.—Butchers mod. cow (unwashed) 8d; washed, 8U1; light washed. Bjd; settlers’ cow, 7d; calfskins, IOJd. Tallow.—-In casks mod. 21s Gd per cwt.; in tins mod. 22s 6d. Our next sale will be held on luesday, 30th June, when wo expect, to have an increased entry. All 'oduce consigned to us will receive special attention.
