THE STRATFORD BUTTER.
WAIKATO WINTER SHOW. The eighth annual Waikato show,, extending over five days, opened on ■ Tuesday afternoon. * here was a very large attendance, S : r Joseph Ward being amongst the visitors. The Association claims for the show a record for the Dominion so far as space and entries are concerned. Space kas been increased to 75,000 square feet, while the entries total 7000. of which 4000 are in competition. The butter exhibit alone contains 2IS entries, representative of two-thirds of the factories ofs the Dominion. At the Winter Show, the Levin Co-operative Dairy Co. was first in factory butter suitable for export, with 95 points, and also in a similar compeition open to the North Island, with 94) points.
The Tamaki Company, Dannovirke gained 94 points.
In box of factory butter suitable for export, the Levin Company was first with 95 points. Tikorangf scored 92 and 91 points.
