Kip.) or thereabouts, and comprises the site of the former Fern Dell house, with the grounds laid out and planted by Mr Chiiman, rivalling in beauty even the best parts of our famous Pukekura Park. The orchard contains one of the finest collections of old bearing fruit trees within the extended Borough of New Plymouth, the pear and plum crops being usually particularly good.
