SOUTH TARANAKI RESULTS. SENIOR. At Manaia Waimate defeated Hawera by 12 points to nil. Kaponga defeated Okaiawa by 11 pbints to 3. JUNIOR. At Kaponga the home team defeated Okaiawa by 13 points to nil, a try being scored by Andrews. Waimate defeated Opunake by 8 points to nil, a try being scored by Andrews. AVaimate defeated Opunake by 8 points to 3. A penalty goal and a converted try to a try. SECOND JUNIOR. Kaponga defeated Waimate by 14 points to nil, tries being scored by Welsh, Mellow, Espener and Carlson. The last-named converted a try. For the second junior competition in the northern division ,four entries have been received, viz., Stratford, Stratford District High School, Clifton, and Star. The matches will start on Thursday, and fixtures have been drawn up as follows: May 28.—Clifton v. Stratford, at Waitara; Star -v. Stratford DiH.S., at Stratford. June 3 or 4.—Clifton v. Star, at New Plymouth; Stratford v. Stratford D.H.S., at Stratford. June 18.—Star v. Stratford, at New Plymouth; Clifton v. Stratford D.H.S. at Waitara. REFEREES FOR THIS WEEK. THURSDAY. Spurdle; Okato v. Inglewood, at Inglewood, Mr W. Roch. THE EASTERN DISTRICTS. The followingw ill represent Strathmore against Toko, at Toko, next Saturday. Forwards: Higginson, Rangi, Hodgson, West, Franks, McAloon, Walsh, Flynn. Backs: Meredith, Taylor, Summerhays, Finnerty, Stewart, Brown, Coulton. All players are requested to be on the To Wera station at 12.30 on Saturday. The attention of secretaries of clubs, or others responsible, is drawn to the fact that referees have power to t prevent a game starting until they have been supplied with the players' list, on the official forms. These may be obtained on application to the Rugby Union. The same thing applies if the grounds are not properly marked out, and line flags put in place. The Referees' Association has decided to strictly enforce both of these rules in future.
