He has been reserving a site for Great Britain, but cannot reserve it indefinitely. The Exposition would not be affected flu ancially in the slightest degree. Great Britain's decision, to be quite frank, had astonished the created world. The British Government's attitude had given the Exposition an advertisement as unequalled as it was unexpected, for which thej' were duly grateful.
