NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW, 1914.
Our Palmerston correspondent advises us that present indications point to a further growth in both size and popularity of the famous National Dairy Show. This show, though only lasting four days, is an exhibition in itself. At tin’s early date everv available foot of space is taken, and from the number of applications the buildings could he filled twice over. Inquiries for information and schedules are. as usual, many, particularly from orchardists and poultry fanciers. The rapid growth of the apple export industry is making itself felt, and it is understood that the committee will/ next year make an endeavor to largely encourage exhibitors in this division. The display of fruit at the National Dairy Show is always a special feature, filling as it does almost the whole of the big produce hall. The Manawatu Poultry Association has greatly improved its schedule and heavy entries are expected in this division of the show. Readers are reminded that entries close on June Ist and should get their schedules early. The secretary is. Mr W. T. Penny, Box 85, Palmerston North, who will supply all information.
