The annual meeting of the Stratford Xo-License League was held in M esley Hall last night. Considering the state of the weather there was a good nettendance, and the proceedings were enthusiastic. Mr .7. W. Boon was elected president and Messrs C. 1). Sole and R. McK. Morison vice-presi-dents. The whole of those present were formed into a general committee, power ebing given to add to their number. Mr E. G. Foster was reelected treasurer, Mr J. Goodrich secretary, and Mr and Mrs Elford assistant secretaries. 'l'ho executive committee reported that the circulation of the Vanguard was about FLOOD. A lot of routine business was transacted. It was announced that the annual Taranaki conference would be held in Wesley Hall next Thursday, the delegates being entertained at luncheon at Elder’s.
