Womans Ton comandments • s P Tho following have been issued by the women voters of Chicago to the aklermanic candidates of the city: Thou shall not be a tool of any special interest. Thou shaft not set thy party above the people. Thou shaft harken to the cry for clean milk. Thou shall not forget the death rate of babies in thy ward. Neither shaft thou forget the morals of the young; nor shall thou bend thine ear to small theatres that fight ordinances for ventilation and for clean pictures. When special and powerful interests ask for favors, the public policy shall lie near thee. >Thou shall not have an office connected with a saloon. Th(ju , shalt . have a aeen asnse ot smell to detect nuisances and garbage evils; garbage dumps shalt thou abolish. » Thou shalt help to keep amusement safe for the city’s children. Thou shalt* not hearken to commercial vice.
