OHURA ROAD (CENTRAL RIDING) LOAN OF £2500. iVTOTICE is hereby given that a Lx Roll will be taken on TUESDAY, the 12th day of May, 1914, letween the lionrs of 9 a.in. and G j.m., to decide whether the following proposals shall, or shall not, bo undertaken, viz: — (a) To raise a loan under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1918,’ ’and “The New Zealand state-guaranteed Advances Act” and Amendments, for the purpose of uetalling the Ohura Road in the Central Riding from its junction, with the Manga re Road to the Kohuratahi Railway Station, or for so far as the loan-money will allow. (b) To borrow for such purpose the mm of Two thousand, five hundred KHinds (£2500) under the provisions >f the above Acts. (c) To pledge as security for the repayment of such loan and for the oayment of interest thereon, a Special Annually recurring rate of One penny and three-farthings (l-ijd) in the £ upon the Unimproved Value of all the ratable property in the “Ohura road (Central Riding) Specad Loan of £2500 Special Rating District” as defined by the Special Ratc"oll of- the said District, The said . special Rate to be for a term of i'hirty-six and a half years or until die loan is fully paid off ; the annual '•ate of interest (exclusive of Sinking Fund) being four and a-half per centum (-If per cent.). (d) It is proposed to pay out of the loan the cost of raising same, Out not the interest and sinking fund for the first year.
