SUICIDE AT NEW PLYMOUTH, A young man named Spencer Griffiths, well-known in New Plymouth, employed in his. brother’s (Mr G. Griffiths’) tailoring business, committed suicide yesterday by taking poison. His failure to return to the shop yesterday afternoon from lunch, coupled with the finding iff a note saying “good-bye,” (says the News), led to a search being made, and his body was found on the foreshore near the municipal baths late in the afternoon.
